I was born in Tennessee

What can we find you doing on your ideal Saturday?
Most often at one of my kids sporting events. If not, then just hanging around the house playing with the kids.

Proudest moment/achievement either personally/professionally?
Singing in Westminster Abbey London England with my college a cappella Choir.

Why radiology?
I chose radiology because it is always changing and challenging. I love the diversity. I find satisfaction in consulting with the different physicians and helping make a diagnosis.

In my free time I enjoy cycling, fishing and reading

My proudest moment(s) were the births of my children

Why radiology?
I went into radiology for several reasons:

  • I enjoy visual aspects and the problem solving related to diagnostic imaging.
  • I am fascinated by the scientific aspects of anatomy, physiology, biology, chemistry and physics.
  • I pursued a fellowship in interventional radiology because I enjoy the technical and hands-on aspects of procedural medicine.

Why radiology?
As a radiologist, we are the "doctor's doctor". I enjoy providing our referring physicians with diagnostic information that often has a significant impact on patient care. I find the breadth of care we provide and the various specialities we interact with very fulfilling.
